A photography contains only a small portion of reality, usually not more than a fraction of a second. This is an attempt by using the tool of digital long exposure to compress four days of Summaery, the annual exhibition of the Bauhaus-University Weimar, into a single image. A camera is mounted on the roof of the Campus Office building and exposes an image over the course of those four days. Buildings, installations, and the rising and setting of the sun will be visible in the image. Additionally will every person that lingers in the yard of the main building leave an incredibly tiny glimpse of it’s presence, indistinguishable from everyone else.
As soon as the exposure has finished, the fully developed image will be accessible here, for every participant and every visitor of the Summaery, free to use.
